Anthea Butler is a professor of religion at University of Pennsylvania. White Evangelical Racism ties together the connection among Rs, evangelicals and the racism is tries to hide.
Power Worshippers is the basis for Ron Reiner’s documentary God + Country. It is good, but I provide my preferred watch below.
Most people have probably heard of this one. It is about masculinity and evangelicals. Explains all the pictures of Trump’s head photoshopped onto over-pumped bodies.
Documentaries
This is *the* best documentary on the topic and if you don’t do anything else, watch this. It’s free on Tubi and 99 cents on other outlets.
The other must watch is this. People you may know will open your eyes to how much data Rs have and how they are feeding it to churches. They use this data to manipulate voting the same way Cambridge Analytica did. Free on Tubi. $2.99 on other outlets
